Connor McBrine-Ellis Awesome simple synth drum-machine drums and chill songwriting. Can't beat that! Favorite track: Compete With Your Own Ghost.
Sleep Tonight

Sleep Tonight This entire album is beyond brilliant. Balacade has become one of my new favourite artists. This guy has so much talent and each song is more fantastic than the last. I'm also a musician and his work (particularly this album) inspires me SO much. Its summery, its happy, its gloomy, its dark, its a laugh, its a cry. Its a feeling. I couldn't recommend this more highly. Favorite track: Fear City.

Joe Gurba One of the best of 2012, easy! Favorite track: Vintage Ocean Liner.

Hi, how are you. I'm Andrew, and I play music under the Balacade moniker. I've been making records and playing shows as quietly as possible since I was in highschool. I call the Pacific Northwest home, and absolutely love bands from the 90's. My influences include Grandaddy, Sparklehorse, Neil Young, and Elliott Smith. If I could travel back in time, I'd be heading on tour opening for Grandaddy. ... more
